[Dhp25-368]

Mettāvihārī yo bhikkhu pasanno buddhasāsane

  멧따위하리 요   빅쿠    빠산노   붓다사사네

adhigacche padaṃ santaṃ saṇkhārūpasamaṃ sukhaṃ.

  아디갓체   빠당   산땅     상카루빠사망    수캉

 

▣ 자비롭게 살고 붓다의 가르침을 믿는 수행승은 

   평온한 상태에, 조건 지어진 것이 멸한 행복한 고요함에 이를 것이다.

▣ 수행승이 자애롭게 살고 깨달은 님의 가르침에 기쁨을 발견하면, 모든 형성이 지멸하여 행복한

   적멸의 경지를 얻는다.

▣ The Bhikshu who acts with kindness, who is calm in the doctrine of Buddha, will reach the quiet place (Nirvana), cessation of natural desires, and happiness.

Pāmojjabahulo bhikkhu pasanno buddhasāsane

  빠못자바훌로   빅쿠    빠산노   붓다사사네

adhigacche padaṃ santaṃ saṇkhārūpasamaṃ sukhaṃ.

  아디갓체   빠당   산땅     상카루빠사망    수캉

▣ 기쁨으로 충만하고 붓다의 가르침을 믿는 수행승은

   평온한 상태에, 조건 지어진 것이 멸한 행복한 고요함에 이를 것이다.

 

▣ 넘치는 기쁨으로 가득 차 수행승이 깨달은 님의 가르침을 믿으니, 모든 형성의 지멸, 적정의 경지,

   안락을 얻는다.

▣ The Bhikshu, full of delight, who is calm in the doctrine of Buddha will reach the

   quiet place (Nirvana), cessation of natural desires, and happiness.
