[Dhp25-366]

Appalābho pi ce bhikkhu salābhaṃ nātimaññati

 압빨라보  삐 쩨   빅쿠    살라방   나띠만냐띠

taṃ ve devā pasaṃsanti suddhājīviṃ atanditaṃ.

  땅 웨 데와   빠상산띠    숫다지윙    아딴디당

▣  적게 얻었더라도 빅쿠가 자기 자신이 얻은 것을 무시하지 않는다면, 

   청정하게 살고 부지런한 그를 신들도 칭찬할 것이다.

▣ 수행승이 조금 얻었더라도 자신이 얻은 것을 경멸하지 않는다면, 게으름 없이 청정한 삶을 영위하는

   님, 신들조차 그를 칭찬한다.

▣ A Bhikshu who, though he receives little, does not despise what he has received,

   even the gods will praise him, if his life is pure, and if he is not slothful.
