Dhp6-86 : 죽음의 왕국을 건너 저 언덕에

[Dhp6-86]

ye ca kho sammadakkhāte dhamme dhammānuvattino

예  짜 코         삼마닥카떼       담메        담마누왓띠노

te janā pāram essanti, maccudheyyaṃ suduttaraṃ.

떼 자나   빠랑   메싼띠       맛쭈데이양       수둣따랑

 

▣ 그러나 잘 설해진 진리 안에서 진리에 따라 행동하는 이들, 그 사람들은 피안(彼岸)으로 갈 것이다.

    건너기 아주 힘든 죽음의 세계를 [넘어서].

▣ 올바른 가르침이 설해질 때 가르침에 따라 사는 사람들은 건너기 어려운 죽음의 왕국을 건너 저 언덕에

    도달하리라.

▣ But those who, when the law has been well preached to them, follow the law, will pass

    across the dominion of death, however difficult to overcome.
