Uṭṭhānavato satīmato sucikammassa nisammakārino

웃타나와또 사띠마또 수찌깜마싸 니삼마까리노

saññatassa ca dhammajīvino appamattassa yaso'bhivaḍḍhati.

산냐따사 짜 담마지위노 압빠맛따싸 야소비왓다띠

▣ 힘써 노력하고 알아차리고 행위가 청정하고 사려 깊게 행동하며, 자제하고 올바르게 살며 깨어있는

이의 명성은 높아진다.

▣ 힘써 노력하고 새김을 갖추고 행실이 맑고 행동이 신중하고 자제하고 여법하게 사는 방일하지 않은

님에게 명성이 더해간다.

▣ If an earnest person has roused himself, if he is not forgetful, if his deeds are

pure, if he acts with consideration, if he restrains himself, and lives according to

law,--then his glory will increase.
