[Dhp5-69] [사촌 동생 난다에게 겁탈당한 웁빠라완나 이야기] [업의 성숙]

madhuṃvā maññatī bālo yāva pāpaṃ na paccati

마둥와 만냐띠 발로 야와 빠빵 나 빳짜띠

yadā ca paccati pāpaṃ atha bālo dukkhaṃ nigacchati.

야다 짜 빳짜띠 빠빵 아타 발로 둑캉 니갓차띠

▣ 어리석은 자는 [악행을] 꿀로 여긴다. 악이 익지 않은 한…그러나 악이 익으면 어리석은 자는 고통을

경험하게 된다.

▣ 악행이 여물기 전까지는 어리석은 자는 꿀과 같다고 여긴다. 그러나 악행이 여물면, 어리석은 자는

고통을 경험한다.

▣ As long as the evil deed done does not bear fruit, the fool thinks it is like honey;

but when it ripens, then the fool suffers grief.
