Anikkasāvo kāsāvaṃ yo vatthaṃ paridahessati
아닉까사오 까사왕 요 왓탕 빠리다헤싸띠
apeto damasaccena na so kāsāvam arahati.
아뻬또 다마삿쩨나 나 소 까사왐 아라하띠
▣ 황색승복을 입었을지라도 청정하지 않고 절제와 진실이 없는 자, 그는 황색 승복을 입을 자격이
없다.
▣ 혼탁을 여의지 못하고 가사를 걸치고자 한다면, 자제와 진실이 없는 것이니 가사를 입을 자격조차
없다.
▣ He who wishes to put on the yellow dress without having cleansed himself from sin,
who disregards temperance and truth, is unworthy of the yellow dress.

우뻬또 다마삿쩨나 사 웨 까사왐 아라하띠
▣ 그러나 더러움을 버리려 하고 미덕을 잘 갖췄으며 절제와 진실을 지닌 이, 그는 참으로 황색 승복을
입을 자격이 있다.
▣ 혼탁을 끊어 버리고 계행을 잘 확립한다면, 자제와 진실이 있는 것이니 가사를 입을 자격이 있다.
▣ But he who has cleansed himself from sin, is well grounded in all virtues, and
regards also temperance and truth, he is indeed worthy of the yellow dress.
